BIO AUGUST 2007
I am a 17 year-old senior in high school, where I am an honor student and Vice President of my class. I am also the captain and choreographer of my high school’s dance team and I am looking forward to a fabulous senior year with all of my wonderful friends. After high school I plan to attend Louisiana State University then move to Los Angeles to pursue a career in dance.

I am celebrating 15 years of dance with Machita & Co., Inc., have danced competitively for seven years and have been recognized for many achievements and scholarships from various dance organizations. My most fulfilling enjoyment is to travel and take classes with the dance industries most respected choreographers. I have worked with top teachers and choreographers such as Katy Tate, Patrice Barakat-Coady, Carmel Cucinotta and Mark Meismer, all of whom I would like to thank for inspiring me and helping me strive to become a better dancer. I would also like to thank Mrs. Machita Eyre, Courtney Landry and the entire faculty at Machita & Co., Inc., for their hard work and dedication during many hours of training and choreography that I love and know is important to become a better dancer.

I am blessed to have two younger sisters, Jillian and Jade, who are not only my best friends, but share my passion for dance. I would also like to thank my family for the love, support and many sacrifices they have made that allow me to follow my dreams.

I have attended Tremaine Conventions since I was 10 years old and have always been inspired by the faculty and past DOTY’s throughout the years. I would like to thank Joe Tremaine and his faculty and staff for giving me the opportunity to hopefully inspire other dancers as I was inspired. I am thrilled to be a Sr. Female DOTY after my mentor Mrs. Machita Eyre was the 2006-2007 Teacher of the Year. I am looking forward to being a part of the Tremaine family and growing as a person and a dancer.
