JOIN US FOR THE TREMAINE NATIONAL FINALS CONVENTION – OUR BIGGEST EVENT OF THE YEAR FEATURING:

CONVENTION CLASSES SPAN 5 DAYS – July 7-11:
  • Convention Registration open to all
  • Register Early as this event typically sells out in advance
  • An extended version of our usual conventions
  • Scholarship Auditions
  • Parents’ Forum
  • Faculty Show

 

SUMMER DANCE COMPETITION – July 6 & 7:
  • Optional Competition for convention attendees
  • Stand alone event:
    • No pre-qualification needed
    • Winning does not qualify for any other competition
  • Unlimited entries per studio
  • Limited number of overall acts accepted
  • Completely separate from the National Finals competition
  • PRIZES AWARDED:
    • 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Place Trophies and Registration Credits are awarded within each age division [Junior, Pre-Teen, Teen, Senior] by category [Solo, Duo/Trio, Group, Line, Production] and dance style [Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Musical Theatre, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Tap, Open].
    • High Score Plaques & Registration Credits are awarded within each age division [Junior, Pre-Teen, Teen, Senior] including 1 for Solo, 1 for Duo/Trio and 1 for Group/Line/Production.

 

NATIONAL FINALS DANCE COMPETITION – July 8-10:
  • Optional Competition for convention attendees
  • HOW TO QUALIFY:
    • Entries must have qualified during our Winter Semi-Finals Competitions by placing 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th Place, receiving High Score or Judges’ Ovation and/or scoring a 96.0 or higher qualify for the Tremaine National Finals Competition.
  • Unlimited qualified entries per studio
  • Limited number of overall acts accepted
  • Completely separate from the Summer Competition
  • PRIZES AWARDED:
    • 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th PLACE Trophies and Monetary Awards within each age division [Junior, Pre-Teen, Teen, Senior] by category [Solo, Duo/Trio, Group, Line, Production] and dance style [Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Musical Theatre, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Tap, Open].
    • Solo National High Score Trophies & Monetary Awards are awarded to the highest scoring solo number within each age division [Junior, Pre-Teen, Teen, Senior].
    • Duo/Trio National High Score Trophies & Monetary Awards are awarded to the highest scoring solo number within each age division [Junior, Pre-Teen, Teen, Senior].
    • National Judge’s Choice Ovation Award Trophies & Monetary Awards are awarded to a Group, Line or Production number within each age division [Junior, Pre-Teen, Teen, Senior].
    • National High Score BRONZE Trophies & Monetary Awards are awarded to the third highest scoring Group, Line or Production number within each age division [Junior, Pre-Teen, Teen, Senior].
    • National High Score SILVER Trophies & Monetary Awards are awarded to the second highest scoring Group, Line or Production number within each age division [Junior, Pre-Teen, Teen, Senior].
    • National High Score GOLD Trophies & Monetary Awards are awarded to the highest scoring Group, Line or Production number within each age division [Junior, Pre-Teen, Teen, Senior].
    • ***** ALL PRIZES ABOVE WILL BE AWARDED DURING THEIR RESPECTIVE AWARD CEREMONIES ***** 
    • PERFORMANCE OF THE YEAR Trophy, Grand Prize Check & Monetary Award. The National Finals scores from Group, Line and Production Entries will be sorted, highest to lowest from all age divisions, and the top 15 highest scoring routines from different studios will be announced on the evening of July 10, as those performing in the Gala for Performance of the Year. If one of these studios is not able to perform their routine in the gala, the next studio on the list will replace them as necessary. Based strictly on these 15 gala performances alone, our Celebrity/Guest Honorees will select their choice for the Tremaine Performance of the Year Award.

  • Tickets must be purchased in advance – limited seating
    • Every seat at the Gala requires a ticket
    • No Entry without a ticket
  • Assigned Table Seating with your Studio/Group
  • Adult No Host Bar Available
  • GALA SHOW FEATURES:
    • Celebrity Dance & Entertainment Industry Honorees
    • PERFORMANCES BY:
      • 15 Top Scoring National Finals Entries*
      • Dancer of the Year Finalists
      • Tremaine Performance Company
    • National Freestyler of the Year Battle
      • The Freestyle Faceoff Winners from the Winter Tour Cities battled earlier in the week to select the top 5 Freestylers who will faceoff LIVE on the Gala Stage where the audience chooses a  winner.
    • Teacher of the Year announced
    • Dancers of the Year announced
    • Special Scholarships awarded
    • PERFORMANCE OF THE YEAR AWARDED
      • *The National Finals scores from Group, Line and Production Entries will be sorted, highest to lowest from all age divisions, and the top 15 highest scoring routines from different studios will perform in the Gala.
