KEITH DILLION

Associate Director

Originally from Gillett, Arkansas, and Belzoni, Mississippi, Keith began dancing his senior year of high school at age 17 at a local studio after seeing Madonna’s “Blonde Ambition Tour“on television. After high school, he attended Mississippi Delta Community College in Moorhead, under dance director Betty Aden. Keith credits Ms. Aden and each of his dance teachers for understanding his passion and nurturing it by introducing him to the next person who could help him further his dream.

After his freshman year at MDCC, his summer dance teacher Robin Walker, told him about Tremaine Dance Center in Los Angeles and off he went. He auditioned and received a spot on the Tremaine Dance Center Scholarship Program, where he worked with such notable choreographers as Marguerite DerricksMichael Rooney and Lester Wilson. He also became an Assistant Manager of the studio while pursuing a dance career. Soon after, he was contacted to help administratively with the conventions, and subsequently served as our Merchandise Manager for four years. Keith took a hiatus from touring for two years to start a successful display and design business in the Los Angeles area. His work has been published in the book Store Windows Volume 16, as well as in an interview by editor Martin M. Pegler in Retail Design and Visual Presentation Magazine.

Keith returned as our Associate Director in 2000 and stepped up to Convention Director during the 2006-07 tour. He continues his design work and now manages our website from the office in Burbank.  Having been with Tremaine for over twenty-five years, he is one of the few staff members to have worked every administrative position on the tour. We truly value him as a member of the Tremaine organization.
