TREMAINE DANCE / RHONDA MILLER Commercial Dance Training Program

Are you ready to take the Next Step? Join us for access to the information and tools needed to launch a successful dance career in the entertainment industry. 

The Program is curated and directed by industry veteran Rhonda Miller, creator and former director of the BFA commercial dance program at Pace University in NYC.  Together, in partnership with Tremaine Dance, we are proud to introduce a 6-month comprehensive commercial dance training program based in Los Angeles CA.

Honoring the legacy of the Tremaine Dance Center founded by Joe Tremaine in the 1970’s, we are thrilled to pay homage to the original Tremaine Dance Center training program. Students will train in all dance styles as well as courses specifically designed for Dance on Camera techniques and Choreography for the Camera. A world-renowned faculty of professional working choreographers, directors and educators will provide valuable knowledge to help take your career to the next level.  In addition, dancers will receive classes to manage their brand/business as well as seminars with talent agents who represent dancers in LA and NY.

The program culminates with a showcase to highlight the dancers to notable professionals in the entertainment industry.

PROJECTED SCHEDULE:*

DATES:         SEPTEMBER 3, 2025 – MARCH 31, 2026     

TIMES:         9am-4pm, 5 DAYS PER WEEK  – Typically Monday – Friday, with some weekend rehearsals – TBD

There will be a Holiday break in November and December.
You will have time in your day to experience Los Angeles or enroll in Online college courses should this be of interest to you

REQUIREMENTS:

AGES:        Must be a Legal Adult, 18 or Older, and graduated High School or the equivalent by September 1, 2025

SUBMISSION DATE:        Applications must be submitted by May 15, 2025

PLEASE NOTE:  Space is limited so please apply early. Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance.

SUBMIT:

  1. Letter of Recommendation
  2. Headshot – mobile phone photo will be accepted
  3. Photo in Ballet Attire, Dancer in 1st Arabesque en l’air – mobile phone photo will be accepted
  4. Video of yourself performing a solo of your choice – No longer than 2 minutes in length
    1. A competition video or one in your studio will be accepted
    2. The style of solo is the dancer’s choice
    3. Slate your name at the top of the video
    4. Video should be filmed head to toe in landscape mode and submitted in MOV or MP4 file formats.
  5. Statement of your professional dance goals.

 

ZOOM INTERVIEW:     Will be scheduled with Director Rhonda Miller prior to acceptance

ACCEPTANCE DATE:     Notification of Acceptance will be sent by JUNE 15, 2025

COMMITTMENT:     Dancers must commit to the entire length of the 6-month program.

FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

COST OF PROGRAM:     $2,750/month
Fees will be payable to Tremaine Dance according to the schedule below. 

  1. A nonrefundable deposit of $5,500 will be due June 15 2025
  2. The second installment of $5,500 is due September 1, 2025
  3. The third installment of $5,500 is due December 1st, 2025
  • The fees listed above cover the TUITION ONLY. 
  • The tuition DOES NOT include airfare, housing, meals or ground transportation which is the responsibility of each individual dancer.
