Originally from the Northwest – Spokane, Washington, and Sandpoint, Idaho – Rick comes from a very active sports minded family, especially ice skating. He began skating at a very early age and later went on to become a Featured Skater with the “Ice Capades” for several years. In his twenties, he decided to pursue a dance career, which led to appearances on the Academy Awards, the Emmy Awards, the Grammy Awards and various T.V. Variety Specials. He has also danced on “The Donny & Marie Show,” in the “Motown 25: Yesterday, Today, Forever” television special as well as in Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” video.
Rick was the Assistant Choreographer for the television series “Solid Gold,” for two of the “Comic Relief” Specials and the movies “Hot Shots” with Charlie Sheen and “Made in America” with Whoopi Goldberg and Ted Danson. He was also one of Ann-Margret’s back up dancers for 14 years, performed with her at her famous Radio City Music Hall concert and was one of the founding members of the dance group “Raw Satin.” In addition, Rick was the Associate Choreographer with Lester Wilson for four world tours with the legendary Luther Vandross. He was our Assistant Office Manager for six years and has been our Office Manager & Controller since 2000. We could not imagine our office without Rick’s unique personality and talent.
