Originally from Knoxville, Tennessee, Libby began attending Tremaine conventions at just eight years old. What started as a young dancer’s excitement for convention weekends quickly grew into a lasting relationship with the Tremaine family. At fourteen, she joined the Tremaine Performance Company under the direction of Joe Tremaine and Keri LaGrand, where she had the opportunity to train alongside and learn from many of the industry’s most respected artists. Years later, when conventions returned following the COVID-19 pandemic, Libby stepped into a new role as Keri LaGrand’s assistant, gaining her first experience supporting the organization behind the scenes and discovering a love for the operational side of the dance industry.
Libby graduated from the University of Alabama in 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance and a minor in General Business. While her collegiate years were filled with a multitude of performance opportunities, it was her leadership roles in the student-run organization, Dance Alabama!, that ultimately shaped her career path. Serving as Social Media Coordinator before being elected President, Libby helped produce performances, lead an executive board, mentor fellow students, and cultivate a creative community on campus.
Following graduation, Libby moved to New York City in 2023 and joined Tremaine as a touring Administrative Assistant, supporting convention operations across the country while continuing to build meaningful relationships with dancers, teachers, and studio directors. In 2026, she relocated to Los Angeles to join the Tremaine office full-time, fulfilling a lifelong dream of serving the organization that had been such an influential part of her own dance journey.
Today, Libby is proud to support the Tremaine team by helping create exceptional experiences for the dance community she has called home since childhood. Her unique perspective, a former convention kid, TPC member, assistant, and now administrator, allows her to approach every aspect of her work with empathy, dedication, and a genuine understanding of the impact Tremaine has on young artists. She is passionate about fostering community, supporting dance education, and ensuring that every dancer who walks through Tremaine’s doors feels the same sense of inspiration and belonging that first drew her to the organization years ago.
