BIO JULY 2015
This has been the best year of my life!  I have had the opportunity to travel to many cities and have made great friends that love to dance as much as I do.  The Tremaine family has inspired me to push myself and my abilities towards the highest standard.  I would like to thank Joe Tremaine and the Tremaine faculty for giving me this wonderful opportunity!

BIO AUGUST 2014
My name is Alivia Waters, I am 11 years old and in the 6th grade. I am the youngest of 3 sisters and started taking dance classes at 2 and began to compete at the age of 5. Competing and performing on stage has become my passion. It has given me confidence in myself and makes me feel free to get up on stage and express my emotions. Even though I love all styles, my favorites would have to be lyrical, contemporary, and jazz.

Other than dancing I love to sing, surf, and spend time with my family and friends. Being hard working and driven, school is also important to me.

I have always danced at Studio 1014 and my teacher is Cathy Finne. She is a wonderful teacher and I am extremely grateful to have her as my instructor and mentor as well. I have grown up in her studio, and she has helped mold me into the person and dancer that I am today.I'm also thankful for my whole family who has always been there with me every step of the way. Most importantly, I want to thank God for all the gifts and opportunities He has given me.

I would like to thank Mr. Joe Tremaine and his faculty. I have been attending Tremaine for the past 5 years watching all the dancers compete and just trying to make it all the way through DOTY auditions. I cannot tell you how much it means to be chosen and I will work hard to grow as a dancer and a person. Thanks you for choosing me as Junior 2014-2015 Dancer of the Year and giving me this amazing opportunity. I cannot wait for this year to begin.
