ALYSE CARRIERE

Machita & Co., Inc.

Teacher(s) Machita Eyre

My name is Alyse Carriere and I am a 15 year old sophomore in high school. I began dancing when I was 3 years old at Machita and Co., Inc., and I have been dancing there ever since. I love to dance in the studio but I especially love performing on a stage! I started competing when I was 6 years old and that's when I attended my first Tremaine convention. Throughout my years of competition, I have been so blessed to receive many awards and scholarships from various dance organizations.

I have two younger brothers and best friends, Nathan and Nicholas. They are so talented and play many sports. If I'm not working hard in the dance studio I'm always at a basketball court, football, or baseball field cheering on their teams. They motivate me to never stop reaching for my dreams and I'm so thankful to have them as my biggest fans! They have always been supporting me along with my Mom and Dad. I don't know where I'd be if it wasn't for my family's love, support, and encouragement. I can't thank them enough for everything they have done for me and my dancing.

Machita and Co., Inc. has not only helped me become the dancer I am today but also the person I am! I could not imagine being a part of any other studio. Machita's is my family and I'm so thankful for that. I'd like to thank Mrs. Machita Eyre and the rest of my amazing teachers for always believing in me and pushing me to reach my ultimate dreams, and I'd like to thank all of my dance friends for being such an inspiration all the time.

Being named "Teen Female Dancer Of The Year" is a huge honor and I am so grateful that I have been given this opportunity! I have found the Tremaine staff and past DOTY's to be such an inspiration to me and I hope that while being DOTY I can inspire kids as much as the others have inspired me. Mostly I'd like to thank Mr. Joe Tremaine and his incredible staff for giving me this amazing opportunity and believing in me as the Teen Female Dancer Of The Year. Joe Tremaine and his staff have helped me understand and realize who I am as a person and a dancer and that is why being named DOTY is definitely a dream come true! I'm so excited to start this year; I know it's going to be a unbelievable journey. Thank you again to Mr. Joe Tremaine and his team for choosing me to represent Tremaine.
