Pro Dance @ Showtime

BIO 2005:

After being given the opportunity to be a Tremaine Dancer of the Year, I moved to Los Angeles to continue my training in the Dance Center's (formerly Tremaine Dance Center) scholarship program. During my year on scholarship I traveled with Tremaine and attended college through correspondence. At the end of my year, I signed with KSA Talent Agency and began to work on various jobs in LA such as "Beautiful" with Minnie Driver, Ally McBeal and various music videos and commercials. In 2000, I accepted a job dancing at Disney's Epcot Center back in my hometown. While performing there, I continued to do outside industrial and commercial work for companies such as Honda, Buick, Harley Davidson, Adidas, Give Kids the World, Aamco, among others. In 2001, I was given the opportunity to perform the role of "Go-To-Hell Kitty" in the musical Chicago in the New Orleans production. I am currently dancing full-time at Disney's Animal Kingdom in the Tarzan Rocks show and have begun moving more in the direction of choreography. I have taught for workshops such as Dance Masters of America, Starpower and Footloose and set choreography for various studios across the southeast. I have also begun assistant choreography work with Pamela Bolling and Hardrive Productions for Celebrity Cruise Lines. My time as a DOTY is something that shaped me as both an artist and a person and I will be forever grateful to Joe and the rest of the Tremaine staff.
