SAFETY PROTOCOLS:

VACCINATED ATTENDEES ARE NOT REQUIRED TO WEAR A MASK
COVID-19 WAIVERS are signed by All Attendees as part of the Registration Process
TEMPERATURE CHECKS will be taken by Guards at Ballroom Doors
*100.4 Temperature or greater, must show negative test prior to entry. .
WASH/SANITIZE YOUR HANDS OFTEN
HAND SANITIZER available at Ballroom Entrances
PLEASE STAY HOME if you are experiencing Covid/Flu-like Symptoms
PLEASE NOTE: For the Safety of All Attendees, Tremaine Dance reserves the right to refuse entry or remove a guest who is NOT adhering to the safety measures. Any guest having a Temperature, and/or exhibiting flu-like Symptoms will need to immediately leave the event and alert us of those they have come in contact with during the event so we can take appropriate action. *By not wearing a mask, you certify that you are fully vaccinated and that other guests in the area can rely on that as a truthful statement.

WRISTBANDS:

• Attach to either wrist
• Not to be removed for the duration of the Convention/Competition.
• Must be worn for Ballroom Entry
• Lost or removed Wristbands require Full Repayment of Registration Fees.
• No Refunds.
• No Exceptions.

CONVENTION SCHEDULES available via TremaineDance.com on your Tour City Page. Also posted inside and outside each classroom.
• If you Pre-Registered with your studio, pick up your Wristband from your Teacher
Wristbands Required for entrance into Teaching Ballrooms
Children under 3 years of age Not Admitted into Ballrooms during dance classes for any reason – no exceptions
Luggage and Large Items Not Allowed in Ballrooms.
All Dance Bags, Ice Chests, etc., must fit under hotel chairs in the teaching rooms in compliance with Fire Marshall regulations.
• All chairs in ballrooms must remain against the walls.
Outside Chairs Not Allowed in ballrooms or convention areas.

HOTEL ETIQUETTE:

• Hotels are Public Areas
• Observe Safety Practices & Quiet Times
• Travel in Pairs
• Wear appropriate Cover Ups
• No Tap Shoes outside of Ballroom Area

PAID OBSERVERS:

ALWAYS PRE-REGISTER – On Site Registration is NEVER GUARANTEED

Parents or Non-Dancers ONLY, attending with registered students in the Junior, Teen or Senior Ballrooms, may register as Paid Observers.
Cannot be – Dancers, Teachers, Studio Owners, Managers or Children under 3 years of age. (No exceptions).
Wristbands will allow you to observe in the Student Ballrooms.
Children under 3 years of age Not Admitted into Ballrooms during dance classes for any reason – without exception.

COMPETITION:

• Possibility of Competition on Day Before Convention. 2 weeks prior notice.
FREE – No Ticket Necessary.
Live Streaming via TremaineDance.com, Password Required & Supplied
• Studio Pod Seating & Masks recommended in the Showroom
Competitors are NOT required to wear a mask while on stage
Competition will be held in studio blocks for dancer safety when required

NO VIDEO RECORDING OF COMPETITION * PHOTOS OK
No Camera Equipment – Selfie Sticks, Tripods, Monopods, etc.

• For Parents of Dancers only (no Wristband required)
• Laurie Johnson discusses your child’s dance education
No Admittance to – Children, Teachers, Studio Owners, Studio Managers, Studio Staff nor their Spouses. No Exceptions!
*May not be available in all cities

SCHOLARSHIPS:

AUDITIONED & AWARDED BY BALLROOM REGISTRATION
* Dancers will Audition in the Ballroom they are Registered in *

• 17 SCHOLARSHIPS are awarded by Tremaine in each city*

3 MVP National Scholarships 1 JR, 1 TN & 1 SR *winter cities only.
– Attend National Finals Convention Tuition Free for that season
– Chosen by Tremaine Faculty based on observations during event

1 Freestyle Face-Off Scholarship 1 TN or SR *winter cities only.
– Attend National Finals Convention Tuition Free for that season
– Chosen by on-stage dance battle during Faculty Show

2 Hip Hop Scholarships  1 TN & 1 SR
– Attend 1 Convention Tuition Free – valid for 1 year
– Chosen by Tremaine Hip Hop Faculty based on class observations

• AUDITIONS – The following Scholarships chosen by Audition Process

12 Convention Scholarships – 4 each – JR, TN & SR
– Attend 1 Convention Tuition Free – valid for 1 year

3 Yearlong Convention Scholarships – 1 each – JR, TN & SR
– Attend ALL Tremaine Conventions Tuition Free for 1 year

• ELIGIBILITY?
– All Full-Convention Paid JR, TN, SR & Asst. Teacher Registrants may audition
* Dancers eligible to receive each available scholarship ONLY ONCE in each Age Division.

AUDITION PROCESS:

NO SIGN-UP LIST  *  NO FEE

AUDITION NUMBERS PROVIDED IN REGISTRATION PACKET

Only Auditioning Dancers, Teachers & Assistant Teachers are allowed in the audition. 
     *Dancers not auditioning must vacate the room.

Observers not allowed in Auditions

* AUDITIONS START PROMPTLY
– Be in appropriate ballroom for the audition PRIOR TO START TIME.
– Only Registered Teachers may enter after the doors close.
NO EXCEPTIONS FOR ANY REASON

* EXITING THE AUDITION FOR ANY REASON
– No Re-Entry into the Ballroom until audition is over.
