Protective Face Shields (complete or partial plastic face coverings) may be worn during dance classes or competition IN CONJUNCTION WITH A 3-PLY FACE MASK as an added layer of precaution for those choosing to do so. However, FACE SHIELDS DO NOT REPLACE A 3-PLY FACE MASK and 3-PLY FACE MASKS ARE MANDATORY 100% OF THE TIME for all Tremaine Dance events including, but not limited to, convention classes and competition performances for the foreseeable future.
*CDC does not recommend the use of face shields for normal everyday activities or as a substitute for masks. Face shields alone likely do not reduce the spread of the virus that causes COVID-19.
