Jody Phillips has been recognized locally and nationally for her excellence as a Dance Educator and Choreographer. For over 30 years, Jody has focused on developing confidence, character, self-esteem, respect and discipline for her dancers (or students) through the art of dance. She is currently an Ambassador for the Dance Teacher Summit; a member of Chicago National Dance Masters; and has been involved with Collegiate and NFL organizations. Her approach with students is to instill a sense of purpose and responsibility in children while building character based traits as they learn and grow through the art of dance. She believes one of the greatest impacts a teacher can have is bringing the ‘Rhythm of Excellence’ to the life of a child.
Jody is very grateful to be recognized as the Tremaine Dance Teacher of the Year for 2015-16. As is evident in the following quote. “I am so humbled in receiving this award and I cannot thank Mr. Joe Tremaine, Mr. Tommy Peel, Ms. Julie Adler, and the fantastic Tremaine faculty enough for their continued excellence in the field of dance education. I am truly honored and feel so very blessed to be associated with such a professional organization that is recognized nationally as Tremaine is. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”
