BIO JULY 2016
Being a Tremaine DOTY has been one of the best experiences of my Life!  I have learned from and danced beside some of the most talented and gifted dance teachers in the industry.  The whole Tremaine organization is made of not just talented dancers, but truly good people.  Thank you, Joe Tremaine and all your staff, for this amazing year!

BIO AUGUST 2015
Hi, my name is Jaz Napolitano.  I am 11 years old and in the fifth grade.  I was born and still live in Windermere, Florida.  My mom says I have been dancing since I was in her belly, and my grandmother says I was always dancing with her when she kept me while my parents were at work. But my story is a little different than most other DOTY’s, as I just began formal dance training a little over 2 years ago.

From the time I was three years old, I have been involved in many team and individual sports.  Some of my favorites are gymnastics, soccer and baseball.  At eight years old, I began diving and progressed to Junior Olympic Level 2.  While diving, I began taking a hip hop class at my sister’s dance studio, The Right Combination Dance Studio in Winter Garden, Florida.  I immediately fell in love with dance, and added ballet and jazz classes also.  I then discovered that one of my diving coaches had grown up dancing as well, and he would drill me on my ballet terms and positions.  Then, two years ago, I was offered a team position with my dance studio, and decided to give up diving to focus on dance.  I now take classes in ballet, jazz, lyrical, tap and still my favorite, hip hop.  I also continue to take classes in tumbling and recreational gymnastics, as well as Chinese pole and hand-balancing.  When I get the chance I enjoy going to auditions and taking acting classes.  I am signed with Benz Models & Talent in Florida, and MSA and Osbrink in Los Angeles.

I feel like I have found my true passion with dance.  I love being able to express my feelings through dance, and move however the music moves me.  I am so thankful to my parents and my dance teachers for being so supportive and encouraging and putting up with all my energy!  I also am so thankful to Mr. Joe Tremaine for providing young dancers with such an amazing environment and opportunity to learn and grow as dancers with Tremaine Dance Conventions.  When I attended my first Tremaine Convention in 2013, I was awed by the awesome teachers and knew then I wanted to be a DOTY!  I am over-the-top excited that I have received that honor and I am looking forward to a great 2015-16 in as many cities as possible as the Junior Male Dancer of the Year!
