BIO AUGUST 2013
It all started with me going to a family wedding when I was little, and while at the after party, I shined like a star when I attempted to dance……thank God my parents saw how terrible I was, so they signed me up for dance class, and I was so excited. I started with jazz and over the years progressed into doing every style. Around that time, Dancing with the Stars caught my eye and I told my Mom I wanted to join ballroom dancing. Once again, thank God she signed me up. Dancing was something that overtook me right away, and I fell in love with it.
All the staff and students from my dance studio, Nancy Pattison’s Dance World, and my ballroom instructors from Ballroom At It’s Best, have helped me so much to get to where I am today. Not only do they teach us dance choreography and technique, but they have definitely taught me some valuable life lessons.
I am blessed to have a supportive studio and family that has made this all possible for me. I am so excited to work with the Tremaine faculty this year, and it is an incredible honor to be recognized as the 2013-14 Teen Male Dance of the Year. I will always count my blessings and be thankful for every opportunity I am given. I am so honored to be able to represent all the talented kids out there who love dance. As Teen DOTY, I cannot thank Mr. Joe, Miss Julie, and all the Tremaine staff enough for this awesome opportunity. I would also like to thank all my teachers, friends and family. I am ready to be challenged and taught by the amazing Tremaine faculty. I am so thankful for this wonderful opportunity, and I will continue to work hard in order to pursue and fulfill my dreams.
