BIO AUGUST 2013
I began dancing at the age of 7, and immediately found my passion. Recently, I discovered that through dance I wanted to make a difference and inspire others. I began competing at the age of 8, and from my first convention class, I knew that this was where I belonged. Over the last 7 years, I have been honored with numerous awards and scholarships, which have made such a huge difference in my dance career.
All of these accomplishments could not have been possible without the love and care of my friends and family. I must thank all my dance teachers for getting me to where I am today and for shaping me into the dancer I have become. A special thanks to Karen and Natalie Willes. Without them, none of this would be possible. To my family, thank you for your love, encouragement and support throughout the years and for shaping me into the person I have become.
Being named Teen Female “Dancer of the Year” is such an honor. It has been a dream of mine for a very long time. I want to thank the Tremaine faculty for choosing me, and I am very excited for the year to come.
