Dianne Edmunds School of Dance

Teacher(s) Dianne Edmunds

Tremaine was a special highlight of my life. I made many new friends with the faculty, with many members of the Performance Company, and with many dancers from studios all over the United States. Being a part of Tremaine this year was so amazing, but I am sad to see my DOTY year end. I would like to say thank you to Joe, Keri, and the entire Faculty and Performance Company. I will miss all of you. I hope that I inspired many dancers.

My name is Cameron Wilson, I am 10 years old and currently in the 5th grade. I live in Ontario, Canada and have been dancing for six years and competing for three. I knew I wanted to be a dancer when I was three years old. I watched my Mom perform in the musical “Chicago” and when the show was over, I told her that I wanted to be a dancer just like her. Dance is now my entire life. When all my friends are at the playground or in the pool, I would rather be practicing and making up routines. I forget all my worries when I dance. I am so excited and honored to be the 2011-12 Tremaine Junior Male Dancer of the Year. I am looking forward to inspiring young dancers all over the country and can’t wait to meet new friends and work with the Tremaine Faculty. I would like to thank Joe Tremaine and the entire faculty for giving me this opportunity. I would also like to thank my dance teachers for giving me the guidance, instruction and support to get me where I am with my dancing.
