In The Spotlight

Discipline. One of the countless ingredients that goes into training a dancer, but also one of the many words I've used to describe my experience with the Tremaine Performance Company. I leaped to their level of choreography without hesitation because this opportunity gives me a chance to balance the responsibility of competing as well as maturing into a respected Dancer of the Year. I'm forever grateful for the unforgettable memories this has brought into my life.

I started dancing when I was four years old and haven’t stopped. Music and dance have been my passion. I think it all started when my parents would take my brother’s and I to see all the Broadway shows… I was mesmerized, never moving in my seat.

Dancing at In the Spotlight has done so much to develop my technique and confidence as a dancer. Also, the late Michael Jackson was, and continues to be, a huge inspiration for me. My years of training in all areas of dance led into a love of hip-hop, tap and contemporary lyrical dance. Born outside the New York area I aspire to perform on Broadway, as well as in concert tours and movies.

I’m currently going to be a junior in high school, and when I’m not studying or dancing you will find me playing lacrosse. I feel confident I will always have dance in my life in some form, even while pursuing my college degree in architecture.
