BIO JULY 2009
Dancing with Tremaine as the 2009 Senior DOTY has been an experience that I will never forget. I have gotten to see the country and have been able to experience how life is as a professional touring with a convention. It has opened up a world to me that I had only barely begun to know was there prior to being DOTY. I will always be grateful for what Tremaine has brought into my life.

BIO AUGUST 2008
I am sixteen years old and a junior at my high school. I am a defensive end for my school’s varsity football team and pride myself on my achievements on the field as well as in dance. I enjoy spending time with my friends, going to church and of course… being at my dance studio.

I have only danced for six years, most of those at American Jazz Dance Company, and in that short time I have learned that dance is a large part of my current life and my future. I plan on attending college where I will continue my dance training while earning a degree in business. One day, I hope to travel with a dance company or a convention and ultimately build a career in dance as a performer and a choreographer, perhaps even owning my own studio.

I have been recognized for many achievements and awards at several different dance competitions and conventions, but I am definitely excited about being Dancer of the Year for Tremaine! Tremaine has always been one of my favorite conventions. The entire Tremaine staff has inspired me every year that I’ve danced and I cannot believe that I’ve been given this opportunity to join the Tremaine Family as DOTY.

I would like to thank Joe Tremaine and his faculty and staff for allowing me to be a part of this amazing experience and Ms. Cece White for showing me that I can be successful as a dancer. I am really looking forward to this year and making the most of this opportunity.
