Teacher(s) Brandi Franks

I can't put into words how much I appreciate everything Tremaine has taught me and how much dancing with Tremaine means to me. This has been an amazing year for me as a DOTY. I love my Tremaine family and I hope this is only one of many years that I can spend dancing with Tremaine.

My name is Molly Hall. I am 14 years old and I live in a small town, Savannah, in southern Tennessee. At age seven, I took my first dance class at Danceforce under the direction of Brandi Franks, who is still my teacher and studio today. I also work there as a student teacher.

From the first moment that I walked out of that studio, I knew it was something I wanted to do as long as my body would let me. Brandi has given me her knowledge, training, and support always . . . helping me to be the dancer that I am today. I love and appreciate her so much.

I don’t think of dance as a hobby . . . it’s my life! Even in my most disappointing of times, dance seems to melt away all my troubles. Whatever emotions I have . . . I take them to the dance floor.

I can’t thank Joe Tremaine and the faculty enough for this great honor and to represent Tremaine as the Teen Dancer of the Year. You have taught me so much. I look up to you, and have the greatest respect and love for all of you . . . my Tremaine family!
