BIO 2006:
Anna is 17 years old and is currently in her senior year of high
school. She is also an honors student and is the yearbook editor in
chief for the upcoming school year. Anna plans to enroll at the
University of Alabama in the fall of 2007 as a student in the
undergraduate dance program. She plans to pursue a degree and major in
journalism while she dances at the University.
Anna has trained in all forms of dance for more than 13 years and is
currently a featured soloist with the local performing classical ballet
company in Mobile, Alabama. Some of her credits include: Clara in "The
Nutcracker," Cygnets in "Swan Lake," Gypsy in "Dracula" and she will
dance the lead role in "Cinderella" in the Spring of 2007. She has
traveled all over the United States as a performer and competitor since
the age of nine. Anna realizes that without the superior training and
instruction over the years, none of her experiences or opportunities
would have been possible. She is forever grateful to her teachers, but
most of all to her family for all their love and support.
Anna attended her first Tremaine convention at the age of seven in
New Orleans. Since then, she has traveled to many stops with Tremaine
and says "each one is always a new experience." All of which have
special meaning and purpose to her as a dancer. Anna is excited about
the coming year as the Senior Female DOTY for Tremaine. She would like
to thank Joe Tremaine and staff for giving her this unique opportunity
and is honored to be a part of the Tremaine family!
