BIO 2005:

After completing my year as DOTY, I moved to Los Angeles where I worked as a professional dancer for almost two years. I played one of the "Four Seasons"on NBC's "AMERICAN DREAMS," and danced with Paige Davis in a commercial for the show "Trading Spaces"choreographed by Doug Caldwell. While in CA, I did a residency with a professional jazz company called LaJaz Danz in Shreveport, Louisiana and continued to teach and choreograph all over the country. I traveled with Desiree Robbins to Dallas, TX, where I assisted her in her work with the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders and trained privately with Ms. Keri LeGrand for a full year to further my dance education and technique. In March of 2004, I moved to New York City to pursue a career in musical theatre. After a month, I began working with Danny Wallace and Isis Masoud on their off-Broadway show, AT THE DINER which we performed in the International Dance Festival at the Duke Theatre on 42nd St. I just finished a show at Caesars' Palace in Atlantic City called NIGHTS ON BROADWAY 3. It was choreographed by AC Ciulla, choreographer of FOOTLOOSE on Broadway. Still in New York and loving it, I am hoping to hit the Great White Way very soon! I continue to teach and choreograph at studios in Texas, Louisiana, Kansas, Florida, Indiana, New York, and New Jersey as well as doing workshops for Star Systems National Talent Competitions. None of this would've been possible had it not been for my experience with Tremaine Dance Conventions as their Dancer of the Year and the wonderful training providing by my Mom, Denise Daniele Blackstone (Teacher of the Year, 2004-2005 ). Many thanks to Joe and the rest of the faculty! The more time goes by, the more I realize how much all of you guys have done for me in my life and career.
